How many sachets are in a box?

Each box contains 30 sachets.

Explain ‘No artificial fillers’ to me?

Many products on the market contain lots of artificial fillers that your body doesn’t need. Why? They ease the manufacturing process. Ones to look out for are Magnesium Stearate, Titanium Dioxide and Magnesium Silicate (which is talcum powder). Evidence and research hasn’t ruled out whether these fillers, binders, bulking and caking agents are actually dangerous to us, or not. However, V.good’s opinion is that if they can also be used in cleaning agents, we’d rather not consume them. So the Vgood team travelled the country and found manufacturers who agreed with this philosophy and ensured their manufacturing process had no nasties.

What else are the products free from?

As well as being artificial filler free, they’re also free from artificial preservatives, artificial colours, salt, gluten, lactose, dairy, wheat and maize.

Are your vitamins suitable for vegan/vegetarians?

Vgood Essentials contains Omega 3 and Vitamin D softgels which are derived from animal products. We are working on a veggie/vegan range. Subscribe below and we'll let you know as soon as this is ready.

Are there any side effects?

It’s very unlikely you’ll experience any side-effects from any Vgood product, containing only the essential vitamins, minerals, good bacteria and fatty acids your body naturally needs to function well. That said, everyone is wonderfully different. So, if you do experience any side effects please stop taking the product and seek medical advice.

Can I take all of the capsules together?

Yes. They all come in one handy sachet so you can grab and go – taking them when it suits you. Although, it’s advisable to take them with food to aid absorption.

Should I take them at a certain time of day?

We recommend taking them just after your first meal of the day.

How should I take them?

With a glass of water, with or after food, to help absorption. We suggest you avoid taking them with any hot drinks as the heat can interfere with the good bacteria in your Live Cultures (Probiotic).

Why do Calcium and Magnesium appear in two capsules?

Both Calcium and Magnesium are essential minerals that help maintain normal healthy bones. However, the powder used to make them is seriously bulky. To achieve an 100% NRV you wouldn’t be able to swallow the huge capsule we’d have to make. So we’ve split it across two capsules to ensure you getting a good dose of both.

What’s the difference between fat and water-soluble vitamins?

Put simply, water-soluble means your body will take what it needs and the rest you’ll pass out when you go to the toilet. Fat-soluble means your body holds on to the vitamins and minerals in your fat stores and takes from there, as and when needed.

Can I take them if I’m on any medications?

If you are on any long-term medications, we strongly advise you speak with your doctor before taking any supplements. Some vitamins can interact with certain drugs, for example blood thinners and diabetes medication.

Can I take these supplements if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?

We would strongly advise you speak to your doctor before taking any supplements if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Why have you put them in sachets?

One of the downsides of taking vitamins and supplements is the amount of bottles you seem to acquire. And when you need to go away, whether for a night or a month, do you take them all with you or count out everything you need individually? So, we decided to simplify the process by combining all of the essentials into one sachet. This makes it super easy, whether you’re off on holiday or just rushing out the door on the way to work. Another bonus for having them in sachets – they retain their maximum freshness.

We do ask that the product has not been opened or used in any way. If you’ve opened the box or sachets, we unfortunately can’t offer you a refund.

What if there is a problem with the product once I’ve opened it?

If there is something wrong with the packaging or products themselves once you have opened it, please do get in touch with us as soon as possible at hello@vgoodvitamins.com We’ll then do everything we can to help rectify the problem.

If I have a specific disease or illness, can you recommend what supplements I should be taking?

Vitamins and supplements are not the same as medical products. They are not legally allowed to be marketed as able to treat, prevent or cure any specific disease or illness. Lots of products out there will make such claims but we will not do so. Where the law allows, and in line with the European Food Safety Standards Agency, we will let you know which ingredients are helpful for a particular area of interest, but we will never target our products at a particular disease or illness. If you have a specific disease or illness for which you would like targeted advice, we recommend you speak to your doctor or a healthcare professional.

Are the box and the sachets recyclable?

V.good people like to take care of the environment as much as their health, so yes, Vgood packaging is recyclable. The outer shipper is cardboard, the carton is paper sealed with water soluble glue, and the sachet is aluminium - all widely recyclable. The only part that isn’t is the label on your outer shipper. Unfortunately it’s very difficult to find recyclable adhesives but we’re working on it!
